Doing art has always been my means of communication attribute.
My participation with the Art Students' League in New York have
influenced the development of my individual style. With numerous artistic
workshops, I further continued my studies. When later I moved to the
Washington D.C. metropolitan area in 80s I have participated in several
gallery exhibitions. In my adoptive home of Fairfax, virginia and nearby
McLean as well as several exhibitions in New York City including group
shows at the United Nations Building. My paintings were well liked in
Thimpu and Bhutan during my stay there for three years. I have received
several Certificates of Excellence, placements in juried shows, and have
also been included in the Encyclopedia of Living Artists, the fourth edition.
My illustrative style somewhat two-dimensional, yet contouring
enough to provide my portraits with a degree of solidity. My paintings
are studies in composition, design and controlled color as exemplified
by "The Question" and the oriental woman in "Daydreams". Rich reds
and browns contrast the pale, ashen faces. My paintings are the vehicle
through which I express my moods and feelings reflected in the color,
form and compositions.

Although I have created many portraits, abstract landscapes have of pastel color applied in a delicate technique. I have done a great deal
become another favorite subject to exhibit my use of analogous and of traveling, often times influencing the subject matter of my prolific
complementary color. The paintings have rich, striking and bold color, collection of oil or acrylic landscapes and portraits.
