My greatest wish as a mosaic composer is to create artworks with
the capacity to make the viewer day-dream for a moment, every
single day. My works exude liveliness. What I cherish above all is
composition, an act of inner creativity with the external stimuli of
the materials. I compose slowly, meticulously. Each stone has an
imminent role; either by being led or by leading the way .What occurs
is that a stone can sometimes have a catalytic role and at others, a
complementary one. For me, mosaic composition is the exultation
of interpretation. I imagine an intricate language for which the whole
work becomes my spokesman. When something appeals to me
visually, I challenge myself to interpret it through mosaic.
