Children and water are a delightful combination. The subject of
this image is my granddaughter Emily, the capturing of a magical
moment.
Linda Martin is a fine artist/illustrator, born in Sydney, Australia,
now living and working on the beautiful mid-north coastal region
of new South wales.
”From the depths of hinterland rainforests, along river valleys
to stretches of ocean beaches I find constant reminders of the
unseen energies that weave into the patterns of being ... as light,
shadow, movement, sound, texture and colour.
Painting is a way for me to express my respect for the miracles of
Creation. Art speaks a universal language, beyond words, directly
to the soul. It provides an opening to the place where we are all
connected, a reminder that each of us is an integral part of a basic
unity. The magic of digital creativity and cyberspace means that
my work is now released from the studio and gallery walls, even
from time and space, into a ’global village’, a place for sharing.”
