Après plus de deux cents expositions en France et
dans le monde, VAN QUE offre dans “VAN QUE
- ART” une somme extraite d’une œuvre aussi
prolifique que variée, qui compte de nombreux
tableaux, aquarelles, dessins, auxquels il faut
ajouter des installations, des décors de théâtre,
des miniatures, des modelages. Le projet est de
réunir dans un seul ouvrage le corpus dispersé
de ses créations, afin d’en éclairer la prodigieuse
richesse et la surprenante cohérence.
VAN QUE, dont le foisonnement prodigieux est le
reflet d’une personnalité protéïforme, d’un talent
varié, d’un travail d’une extrême diversité, tour à
tour, déroute, irrite ou fascine par la profusion de
son œuvre et de son art, par sa boulimie créatrice
irrépressible. Le moment est venu de faire le point
sur une figure qui laisse rarement indifférent, et
sur la résonance que sa création a rencontrée.
VAN QUE, nourri d’une solide formation
classique, accomplit un itinéraire esthétique d’un
éclectisme prodigieux.
Cet artiste-chercheur, s’efforce de pénétrer les lois
d’un art qu’il propose de partager avec ses élèves,
avec son public. Il n’a de cesse de communiquer
à qui veut bien l’entendre, ses réflexions sur la

and throughout the world, VAN QUE presents in
“The Poetry of The Natural Décor” a wide range
taken from the whole of his works which are as
rich as they are varied , including many paintings,
water colours and drawings, not to mention interior
design, theatre sets, miniatures and modellings.
The project is to bring together in a single volume
the scattered corpus of his work in order to
highlight its prodigious wealth and its surprising
coherence. VAN QUE’s amazing creativity is the
reflection of a personality with many different
facets, a whole variety of talents and of a work
of great diversity .He, in turn ,surprises, irritates
and fascinates by the profusion of his work and of
his art, by that insatiable, irrepressible creativity.
The time has come to assess a personality who
rarely leaves one indifferent and to take stock of
the echo that his work has received.
VAN QUE having benefited from a solid classical
training, has accomplished an aesthetic itinerary
that is prodigiously eclectic.
This artist-research scientist strives to fathom
the laws of an art which he offers to share
with his pupils, with his public. He constantly
communicates to all who are ready to listen, his
reflections on painting, his questions about art.
