In the essentiality of forms and in the suggestive limpidity of color combinations, edith de Hody dziedu-
szycka finds her particular identity or personal canon reflected through her awareness of art. reminiscent of
a return to the origins of magic and the continual transfer of references, her shapes are controlled from the
projection of the mind into the breath of spaces, into unlimited liberty, into unreal atmospheres, disclosing
     unexplored images of unconscious.
                                                                    (MArIO gIACOMeLLI)
edith’s inquiry and artistic route are subordinate to inner investigation, to the intellectual. Her works are
highly sophisticated, with strokes and colors that create suggestions of immeasurable delicacy, contrasting
with her philosophical mind. In the Italian, or more precisely, the european artistic environment, the Artist, with
her cultural traditions and her sometimes-surreal themes sends us back to images of naturalistic environme-
nts that allude to historical and social works. As such, de Hody dzieduszycka takes her rightful place in the
pursuit of new trends and expressive directions that in art, as in every field of life, cannot be satisfied with
territorial boundaries but signifies a mutual feeling for a new world we must invent together.
