Mary Anne Wardach was born in Mundare, Alberta, Canada, and spent her first eighteen years in a rural
environment. she was education at the Universities of: Alberta, British Columbia, Oregon, and Hawaii. Wardach’s
work with the Talented and gifted and Fine Arts programs have lead her into the international fine art scene.
she paints, writes poetry, and lectures on creativity, actively working on the development of her creativity for
the past fifteen years. she has taught classes and used her findings to develop herself, especially in the fields
of painting and poetry writing. Writing poetry, she says, started as an emotional release. Her poems express
her inner emotions and also inspire healing which enabled more work on her creativity. Her paintings vary in
style and approach and her materials reflect this flexibility. she works in many ways and has developed few
prejudices as to method of application or technique. Wardach has experienced excellent results using diffe-
rent kinds of papers, brushes and media. Her paintings are composite impressions of places where she has
been or imagined. generally, Wardach does not sketch, photograph, or work directly from subjects, relying
instead on stored up impressions. Constant experimentation, which she says is essential to her work, has
lead to growth and change in her work. Paintings done by Wardach hang in private and corporate collections
in: the U.s.A., Mexico, Australia, singapore, Holland, Japan, spain, and Canada. exhibitions of her work in new
Orleans, Mexico City, egypt, Poland, singapore, Toronto, dallas, Japan, new York, edmonton, and Los Angeles
have and will continue to occur.
