ABSTRACT EXPRESSIONISM
Abstract expressionism is a way of expressing emotions and ideas
through abstract shapes and forms. It is often considered to be
the most personal form of art, as it allows the artist to explore and
express their feelings and emotions through the use of color, line,
shape, and texture. The freedom to explore and discover new ways of
working with materials and composition, allows the artist to create a
unique body of work that is reflective of their individual perspective.
It is a highly intuitive and expressive form of art that requires the
artist to be in tune with their innermost thoughts and feelings.
As an abstract-expressionist painter, Ygartua has developed an
individual style and technique that is reflective of his own unique
vision. He is known for his use of bold, vibrant colours and strong,
textured brush strokes that evoke a sense of movement and energy.

His pieces often feature large-scale forms and shapes that appear
to be in flux, as if they are in the process of becoming something
else. Ygartua’s works are often highly expressive and emotional,
