preoccupied with semiotics and the simplicity
of aesthetic beauty, or the aesthetic beauty of
simplicity. Tyr searches for the instinctive beauty
in his paintings and work. painting only what (he
believes) is needed in an image combined with a
need for immaculate lines and finishes, his paintings
            tend to be borderline graphic.

“the true mystery of the world is the visible, not the
invisible” ( Oscar Wilde). one needs vision to “C true”.
to acknowledge the depth of the human surface.
and not expect more. for the image is enough.

no more paintings of the old riches. no more
ecclesiastical commissions. religion is dead and our
euro-western property has become virtual. you are
what you own no longer applies. the globalization
of the net has projected all of us into the public
            domain.

today we will more likely inherit internet domains
than actual (tangible) property. new perspectives
            get imposed.

even “big brother” has become a family friend. we
are starting to see what we couldn’t see before.
we are contented with the illusion of property, the
            illusion of privacy.

we touch upon the untouchable. and we are no
worse off for it. today the image can be empty.
the illusion suffices. figuration is the new abstract.
            (meta-reality. semiotic architecture).
(r)evolution is upon us. our personal space is growing
inwards. we are reaching new realities, perhaps a
little less full (depends on the interpretation) but not
less real. on the contrary. we are starting to see the
visible. starting to unravel the mystery.
