The traces left by words in our
conscience engrave metaphorical
meanings. Through the magic of
words, the world heats up the
arid angular shapes that we
awkwardly rush by. The word
melts our daytime sorrows and
turns them into poetry. Where
the word cannot voice anymore,
the colors turn into images
that complement the words,
giving them new meaning, as
church music accompanies and
gives meaningful radiance to
altarpieces. The artist is one of
the many makers of a city. He
easily integrates into the city
life thanks to the new forms of
expression that he harnesses.
His vision, usually enhanced by
the other arts. In turn, the painter
builds temples and shrines where
his art form can be displayed
and his music heard. Beyond
the terrifying, depersonalized
grayness of the metropolis,
beyond the variations of cold
metal and glass, painting tenderly
sits on the wellspring of ideas
and thus sparks a new meaning
to life amidst the tumult of a busy
city. New ways of expression
create vigorous and bold lines,
expressive shapes. These shapes
give life to the words that make
up the magical fantasy of their
composition.
