                                                                 Wolff, born in brazil, has been living in Israel for over 30 years. In her works,
                                                                 she interlaces the heritage of her country of birth with her impressions
                                                                 of Israel. Wolff works with different mediums and techniques: painting,
                                                                 photography and installation. As master artisan Wolff weaves beads
                                                                 of different textures and colors. Her painting series, derive from each
                                                                 other, and correspond with each other, truthfully communicating her
                                                                 changing feelings and emotions. All works are characterized by ultimate
                                                                 sincerity, direct expression, plentitude, and the need to paint in detail
                                                                 and create new worlds. This plentitude, meticulousness, attention to
                                                                 details and expressivity –"painting brush game" (a term used by the
                                                                 artist), is manifested in her painting series: landscapes, birds, vessels,
                                                                 Flowers, Trunks, Trees and Thicket. In addition to these, Wolff also creates
                                                                 installations. Wolff paints in series, in which she reacts to occurrences in
                                                                 her life. The series come in different periods, with some themes returning,
                                                                 after intermissions, in enriched variations. The changes of themes can be
                                                                 compared to changes in subjects of books written by a writer during his
                                                                 life. The themes change, but the writing hand, or in Suly's case, the painting
                                                                 hand and the soul behind it are the same. The peaceful, colorful works
                                                                 conceal a world laden with emotions and urges, pains and transcendence.
                                                                 Suly says: "nature and flowers seem friendly and beautiful, but they conceal
                                                                 the pain and suffering which gave birth to them". She believes in art as
                                                                 a form of catharsis. The color red, common in her works, has profound
                                                                 meaning, and suggests blood, struggles, war, etc. Each color has a unique
                                                                 meaning, and its own effect on its environment. In her paintings Wolff mixes
                                                                 the past and the present, the local and the global, to one artistic whole.
