The Ariel Severino’s artwork, is a voyage from
FRONTERA TRANSDISCIPLINAR, DIGITAL PAINT 70X70 IN. / 180X180CM. the unconscious to the world of the image.
In the process of insertion of man in today’s
society, before making use of digital technol-
ogy it is first necessary to learn to command
the computer and peripheral equipment as
an extension, as a tool or a technological
prosthesis. And as we gain control of this
process, we must also realize that our ability
to access, analyze and process increases
the opportunities and horizons for each
individual. Here we have an opportunity to
experience the new art of the 21st Century,
Ariel’s Digital Painting, a work of technologi-
cal and fine art quality, deeply in tune with
the new systems of communication, storage
and reproduction that maintains the sensi-
bility, inspiration and emotion of painting.
He creates standards where the new saga
of humanity is formed by beings molded
in hundreds of layers, reinvented with the
accumulation of light and shadow, revealing,
and, at the same time, in constant search for
their identity. “In my all artworks, interact-
ing with the composition, objects – from
past and present, from everyday reality,
“engraved” by the bytes, “illuminated” by
the fiber optics, “cast” in the blast furnaces
located alongside the information highways
– clamor to be recognized as “original”,
unique, true.” said Ariel.
The communion with technology is essential,
it assures immediate return, and shows a new
path to expand the limits of art. The computer
and its software do not add any previous
deficiency, on the contrary, they open a wide
view for an opera that has never been heard.
A reckless glance may fool and confuse, but
painting is not fooled; we are face to face with
its newest form of expression.
