My work expresses my own worlds I
create by integrating images from
various spheres. I choose elements from
the macro- and micro-levels of heaven
and earth inspired also by motifs of the
Jewish mystic tradition.
I work with oils on canvas in combination
with computer technology and sculpture
with different materials. My work is
composed mainly of amorphous
configurations consisting of curved and
spiral forms inherent to the organic and
natural world. I am actively engaged in
environmental issues, which is expressed
in the range of my “eco-art” work.
THE ELECTRIC POLE IN OMER
THE NEGEV DESERT IN ISRAEL
STEEL AND PLEXIGLAS, M.100, 1995
The artist transformed a 100 m. high voltage electric pole
into an environmental sculpture. He installed huge
colored, transparent Plexiglas plates in the pole steel
construction. The refraction of the sun rays on the pole
sculpture projected on the environment result in what the
inhabitants call the “desert cathedral”.
