I am an internationally recognized artist. Since 2013, I have been living
and creating in the United Kingdom. For about 35 years, I have worked group exhibitions in Europe: Italy, Spain, France, Portugal, Switzerland,
Lithuania, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, England, Canada, and the
as an artist. I have created 12 stage projects for Lithuanian theatrical United States. This includes virtual exhibitions on the Biafarin website,
performances, 7 mural paintings, and participated in 24 solo and 72 Canada, HMVC New York Gallery, on the Contemporary Art Curators
website, on the Artavita website, US, and more.
I was born in Lithuania in 1962. I studied art techniques, styles, and the
finer aspects of painting at A. Martinaitis Art School and Academy of
Art. However, I believe that the most important elements in the creation
process, such as spirituality, uniqueness, and power, come from the
unified fields of eternity, consciousness, and unconsciousness.
My inspirations come in different ways; from the outside world through
travels, books, nature, music, art, and from within through sensibility,
intuition, and meditations. In the creative process, I use different media: oil
on canvas, acrylic on canvas, mixed media; oil pastels, acrylic, watercolors
on paper, and collages. For many years, my favorite technique was
collages. I use wood, mirrors, textile, leather, sawdust, photos to achieve
richness and dexterity of the surface. With these materials, I create the
main structure of the artwork and at the end, I paint with oil colors. The
physical body of the picture juxtaposes and suffuses each part of the
artwork and veritably forms a jazz of the visual performance.
Over the last decade, most of my artworks are oil on canvas, but I have
also created about 70 mixed technique artworks: watercolors, oil pastels,
acrylic on paper.
In order to achieve a specific expression and to show the inner spirit of
the object, I stylize and reshape forms of nature by simplifying them.
Some of my artworks have elements of impressionism, pointillism, others
– of surrealism. I never stick with one stylistic manner or technique for
a long time, I try to express myself in different ways. Also, if you only
concentrate on the technical side and selling very well, there is a big
