Larz is an internationally
recognized Swedish painter
and designer living in the city
of Sigtuna in the metropolitan
area of Stockholm. He
works mainly in acrylics and
aquarelle techniques. The
motifs are created with broad
variation and fantasy, from
hyperrealism to abstraction,
but still with a unique style.

As a painter he was influenced
by the Swedish painter knut
gruva. His mentors at Art
School were Bror Hjort and
Carl Riise but he has even
inspiration from Pablo Picasso
and Salvador Dali. He has
earlier worked professionally
in the field of designer but also
as art teacher, art director,
show-business manager and
was a time owner of a fashion
table company. Lars has been
working as a professional
artist since 1993 focusing on
painting and sculpture. He
has held numerous one-man
shows and is represented
in collections in Sweden,
France, Italy, Spain, and in the
USA. Larz was nominated to
Professor of art in Accademia
greci-Marino, Italy 2003; Larz
work has earned numerous
awards and distinctions,
including the Antony van
Dyck prize 2007, Trofeo
internazionale di pittura
scultura e grafica Organizzato
dal Centro Diffusione Arte di
Palermo Città di New York
2010 and many other public
and private distinctions in art
competitions. His art has been
published in several collective
art books. He is membedr
of k.R.O. —Swedish Artist
National Organization and
BUS-Droit de suite.
