Are compact discs or mp3 computer music files and players any less valuable as an intermediary to
propound an idea or feeling to someone?
Are the products of this type of technical media any less genuine than a live concert?
Computer technology bequeaths the artist with the opportunity to create perfection. A photograph prof-
fers a variegate form of experience, but that does not make it less real. I would never be averse to being moved
emotionally by something just because to comes to me by virtue of the digital realm. The end result is still alive,
a codification of a reality, and representative of an intention that has the capacity to eliciting a reaction - all the
aspectual qualities at the root of the artistic creation.
