A colourful world is always a synonym for paradise.
(Friedensreich Hundertwasser)
I like to experiment and I love strong colors. I find the dialogue with
materials, possibilities and subjects fascinating. In the search for different
ideas, new avenues always open up and the excitement continues.
Even as a child, I drew and painted under the guidance of my father.
I completed my training as a draughtswoman. My strong artistic streak
also led me into creative work with ceramics and weaving, both with and
without a loom. In this period and throughout the years that followed,
I repeatedly attended day and evening courses at various art schools.
I get my inspiration from memories of my childhood and youth in
Germany and of my life in Morocco. I also draw a great deal of inspiration
from the shapes and colors of nature. I use the impressions gained
from many trips to the Arab world and to Asian countries in my work.
