Wendy Cohen is a Sydney-based artist who actively exhibits her work
at The New York Art Expo, Art Spectrum Miami, Art San Diego, and The
Other Art Fair in Sydney. She creates innovative virtuosic mixed media
paintings that communicate the harmony and beauty of the world.
Incorporating her fascination with abstraction juxtaposed with collage
elements, Wendy metamorphoses her unique vision by integrating
shapes into a cohesive body of colours, lines, and forms. As a result,
flowing ideas are manifested that draw the viewer’s attention to the
brushstrokes, mark-making, and materiality on the surface of each
painting. The primary focus of Wendy’s practice is to invite the viewer to
enjoy each painting as she transforms the static space into synchronized,
contrasting colours, highlight its vibrant chemistry and resonance.
