different authors. The Stabile has it’s own 11 ft. in diameter and Rosewood
turning carousel which is motorized to make a complete revolution every 60
seconds. The whole project weighs approximately 1,500 pounds & requires
a crew of 6 strong people to assemble it for exhibitions.
The First side is the warm side and is a sunset over the ocean with tall
cliffs representing the “Natural world”. The Sunset view is inspired by the
proposition in the prologue from “Thus Spake zarathustra” by Frederic
Neitchze: “Oh great Star, what would your happiness be if you had not
those for whom you shine?”.
The Second side is a view of the last perfect day of mid-summer at high
noon with the buildings of the Cultural & Trade Center from ancient Lemuria
representing the “Cultural world”. This view is the far right end of the
second side with a mirror, shown here with two of my other Art-works:
“Paradise” & “Fathom-less Billowing waves of Love”. This is at the far right
end of the “Last Perfect Day” that shows the falling rocks from the earth
quake and rising mountains.
The Third side is a view from inside a cave and is very mysterious
representing the “Spiritual world”. The Theme of the Masterwork is “The
Journey to the City of god” or “Citadel Divina”. The Third side, Spiritual
world, Inside the Magic Cave is inspired by Mary Stewart’s Book titled:
“The Crystal Cave” the story of the childhood of Merlin, the magician of
king Arthur’s Court, and his studies inside the cave with spiritual things
from which the Stabile gets it’s title; “The Crystal Cave”. The title of this
side of the stabile is “The Falcon & the Ring-neck Dove”
Adams loves to paint the sea in all of her many moods & manifestations,
From quiet crystal calm days to gigantic surging storms and maelstroms
holding ships in their maw. Loren Adams paints water like no-one else
and can convince any viewer that they could get wet if they dare stand
too close. He’s a serious Artist and believes that it takes perfection as
a goal to achieve a Masterpiece.
“Each brushstroke is just as important as the whole picture. while
painting it’s the center of my consciousness. knowing all the while
that a single sour note would ruin a symphony and a poorly formed
brushstroke could ruin a fine oil painting!”
In order for any Artwork to be great It must measure up to the stan-
dards that other great Art measures up to. Loren Adams believes that
Fine Art must be intellectually stimulating and the composition must
be mathematically perfect. The perspective has to based on accuracy
especially if the Art contains Architecture or Architectural elements. It
needs to be historically significant & have a meaning that tells a story
important enough to help widen the planetary cultural base. These
