For a long time now, I had been working in many
different ways…when one day I found the material
which best suited my purposes. I adore the rough living
texture of old wood. The glyph rolls and spreads out its
undulating wave. It seizes the color, lyrically invasive.
I’m literally enchanted by color; it is the clothing-light
of dreams. Humanity intrigues me. Both absurd and
yet so fantastic. I have chosen the side I whish to be
on: for me « Man is a funny creature » like a zebra,
so proud of its stripes could be the bars of the cage,
unless it is careful. Inspiration is found in the desire
which pervades all things and which really is the stuff
of Making. Just one possible explanation among many
others of the recent works presented on this page.
