There is an unknown, undefined
knowledge and feeling, which pass
through me into another totally
different and open recipient where
it will be contained for unlimited
time and live its own life, in different
lights and shadows and in different
times. Layers are formed and veiled
for almost our entire life, layers
build up with the passing of time
and experiences in our lives.

Through the process of creating,
the canvas becomes the recipient
for the unveiling of those layers
which will be stored and with time
will change and mature and maybe
become invisible or completely
transformed. we want to freeze
time, stop time, which in essence
does not exist - what exists is our
inner time and concept of time, our
development or stagnation.

An opening and closing of the shutter
speed, the aperture of the lens and
the quality of the light in a frozen
moment according to the sensitivity
of the film, and then the final moment
when the three act together and
there we have seemingly frozen time
and a moment captured in space
and time.
