Timothy Taylor is a painter and sculptor living in the
Northern Marianas Islands. After moving to a remote
Pacific island in 2008, far from art supplies and galleries,
cement was sometimes available. The 4 “Artifacts” that
resulted remain in the wild, a sort of natural experiment.

Not yet ten years old, the Artifacts inhabit their second
nation as history rolls forward.
