Art: A Journey Through Emotions, Memories, and Mastery
Art—the very word conjures a symphony of feelings, colors, and
whispered secrets. Allow me to walk alongside you through the
gallery of your experiences:
1. Discovery in Lugano: At the tender age of twelve, in
the Italian-speaking embrace of Lugano, you stumbled upon
art’s magic. It became your refuge, a sanctuary where language
barriers melted, and questions found solace. Insecurity, meet
your antidote: the brushstroke, the palette knife, the canvas.
2. Tragedy and Healing: Life, as it often does, dealt
you heartache. The grief that enveloped your children,
the unspeakable horror, found its echo in your art. It was
there, waiting patiently, to guide you back to life. Sensibility
heightened; colors whispered their own stories.
3. Impressions Saved: Your inner mind, a treasure
chest of impressions. Sceneries etched like sunsets on water,
vibrations humming through your veins. Colors, their hues like
emotional chords, always the genesis. Composition followed,
and gestures danced, adding layers to your storytelling. You,
a poet and interpreter, accompanied by the silent harmonies
of musicians.
4. Linking Past and Present: Art bridges time. Your soul, a
keeper of wartime echoes, bombings, displacement, the trauma
etched deep. Yet art, like a compass, signals to others. It says,
“I’ve been there. I’ve felt this.” A shared language beyond
words.
