         Body Art - everlasting peace of illumination: As a conceptual artist in the
         aesthetics, my work unifies art with fashion. Rouges’ inspiration comes
         from a vision of magic-spiritual of the Orient and Occident. New and Old
         worlds. References in belief of renaissance and serenity. Rouge lived her
         childhood with impaired hearing.  She went to Ballet School in Argenteuil
         of the famous Ludmilla Chiriaeff founder of Les grands Ballets Canadiens
         which helped to improve balance and knowledge of body language and
         opened a  new  frontier to figurative art.  She then studied Fine Arts in
         Toronto and make-up artistry and hairstyling in Montreal.  She is constantly
         recreating herself with ventures in fashion, theater, mime, music, and
         dance, through traveling, which is a pilgrimage. She uses esoteric position
         and an intuitive approach in creating iconic pictures.  “One’s authentic self
         is recreated with ornamentation and use of lace masks and macramé.”
         Influenced by Haute couture glitter Rock ambient music,  Dutch and
         Italian paintings masters inspiration and all of this was utilized into using
         the body as a canvas.  She built workshops in lace make-up and created
         exhibitions shown in many countries, making it accessible to wear for
         special events, for brides to be, special portraits and linked everything
         into a fashion podium. The research is highly crafted into hybrid languages
         of design. The body and energy is about hope. The esthetic is the crown.
         It is a ritual to immortalize the spirit. Always new and like the historical
         content a biography of one’s identity it becomes a celebration. I feel the
         impression goes beyond knowing we are Mona Lisa or man of god, an
         eternal picture with a painter’s eye and a dancer’s choreography.  It is a
         constant journey to make one close to the image of which they dream. So
         many questions about how we see identity. The body is a sacred temple.
