LUPCHo BoJaroV

       1959 born in skopje, Macedonia
lives and works in skopje, Macedonia

When one looks at the creative accomplishments of Lupcho Bojarov as painter, printmaker, and drawer, it
is incontestably evident that the stylistic balance and genuine consistency in his art fulfills his conceptual and
aesthetic goals and principles. His precise path and artistic statement are crystal clear, maintaining a balance
between the intellectual and the emotional nature that take into account the world around him as much as his
inner self. He has a strong and authentic personality that becomes evident in his art where moments of keen
sensitivity and moderation intersect with a rational approach. He maintains ‘personal laws’ for his creative
work that help him effectuate a structure that stimulates the author’s ability to awaken his childlike enthusi-
asm and allow him to accede to his innate intuitive and imaginative nature, where fantasy and overtones of
primordial, archaic scriptures and signs, play a predominant role in his creative works. He constructs a world of
symbols through clear-cut artistic perception in a direct, spontaneous, magical, witty, refined, and subtle way,
with sparse, carefully selected elements, using reductive delineation on an abstract two-dimensional plane.
Bojarov’s works are purified, fairy-like, and imbued with simplicity; they captivate with their honesty, open-
ness, freshness, fragility, subtly, imaginativeness, and personal charm. We recognize in them a uniquely refined
poetical quality and sensibility, but also we recognize an artist who is in control of his productions, sovereign
of his artistic form, an artist who possesses a high level of creative articulation, un-impeded and inexhaustible
invention, and maturity in his artistic expression. (gOCe BOzUrsKI, ArT CrITIC)
