Western civilization lost the unifying influence
of harmonic science and philosophy, and has
lacked any cohesive centre ever since. This has
led us to the fragmented and dysfunctional
world we find ourselves in today.
With the recent publication of “Interference”
by richard Merrick, this chapter has now been
re-opened. (Please see link on my web site)
The intuitive grasp of spatial geometries that
I have been exploring in my art, have been
profoundly clarified though the revelation of his
work. The introduction of “metatrons cube” into
my latest renditions celebrates this influence.
What is now apparent is that the material world
is underpinned by a quasi crystalline energy
matrix. various patterns and geometries arise
out of this field crystallizing into matter like a
physical hologram. One of nature’s geometric
constants, “metatrons cube,” is a six pointed
geometrical figure from which the five platonic
solids are derived. This figure has been dated
back to the 6th century b.C. Underneath the
world of apparent “objects” there exists a world
of subtle energies, where edges dissolve and
the laws of the classical world break down. The
classical laws once told us that space is empty,
and we are all separate, struggling to survive
in a cold dark universe. The materialist’s view
of the world must now be put to rest: Closed
down; outgrown.
Unity, cohesion, and interconnectedness are
inherent in the universe. great art must point
to and indicate this. Not re-enforce separation
and darkness. A great place to start would
be the reintroduction of harmonic science to
schools. The “Schools of Athens” was shut
down by the same narrow mindedness that
we see littering the political landscape today.
I say it is time to rebuild our social, political
and economic institutions founded on an
enlightened understanding of who we really
are, not what we have been told to believe.
