The moment the art - confronted
to the social body – dissolved itself
while losing a large share of its
autonomy, especially the aesthetic
one, as opposite to populism,
dictatorships and nationalism.
When the idea of « uniqueness
» and of «singularit y» became
more and more threatened by
the technical multiplication and,
by consequence, it is perceived in
an absent-minded way, as lateral
and marginal, I propose myself not
to be « connected ».
L ‘Art, happy emotion!

Am I naïve? Certainly, it’s like
simulating innocence! I believe in
the resurrection of the «pictorial
ballad», from which my decision
of not to be «has the method». To
the confusion, one opposes the
visceral suffering, to the feeling of
the absurd one of a 20th century
brutal and indecent, I propose
the alternate one of a ceremonial
chivalry... Existence can become
an endless party! My canvases
- hesitation prorogated between
construction and chance, between
« prismatic», and colloidal - stem
of a spirit of continuity, coming
from each one other, by a chain
reaction.

Chance or random, my gesture
isn’t just appearance...
