Her academic journey took her to universities in Frankfurt, Tokyo,
Munich, and Salzburg, where she studied Philosophy, Japanology,
Sinology (M.A.), and Psychology (Diploma and Dr.phil.). These diverse
fields of study have undoubtedly enriched her understanding of the
human condition, which is reflected in her art. In addition to her work as
a fine artist specializing in oil painting and experimental photography,
Hanna is also a prolific writer. She has authored books and essays and
worked as a freelance journalist and director of a Jewish Museum.
Her artwork has been showcased in numerous exhibitions worldwide,
attesting to her recognition in the global art community. Hanna
currently resides in the Hamburg area, where she shares her home
with her dog, two beloved cats, a mare over 30 years old, and a very
tricky donkey. Her love for animals and nature undoubtedly influences
her art, adding another layer of depth and complexity to her work.
